Description
Gabor Szokoli (szocske@gmail.com):
We would appreciate support for the SCTP transport layer protocol from within VEs. Specifically from veth interfaces, if that matters at all.
SCTP is the preferred transport protocol of telecommunication applications for relaying signaling information over IP networks. It provides multiple streams within a connection, where packet loss and retransmit delays only the affected stream, while the transfer rate of the whole connection is regulated as in a single TCP connection. Its multihoming and failover capabilities are also desirable.
